Relaxing On Mordi Creek by Rosemary Miota-duncan

Features

ARTIST NOTES: Mordialloc Creek is a beautiful backdrop to this expression of fisherman delight in their boat. An old wooden Hartley in this place that has played safe harbour since the beginning of settlement is a fitting tribute to this iconic place.

ARTIST BIO

Artist Biography: Rosemary Miota-Duncan

Registered under the company name 01RoseArt10 and based in Metropolitan Melbourne I have been practising visual art since 1998. My artwork comprises mainly oil paintings and digital photography in which my aim is to evoke a sense of mood or feel for the environment. Through the use of hyper/real colour I also strive to produce paintings which depict a psychological atmosphere in an everyday landscape, into which the viewer can be drawn. I also enjoy painting personalised portraits which can be commissioned through my website. I am a mature aged artist with an enduring passion for art and have provided works for metropolitan and regional art shows, homeware stores, commissions, interior design, friends and family. I studied at the Moorabbin Institute of Technology from 1999 - 2003, achieving both Diploma's of Liberal and Visual Arts, I completed my Bachelor of Fine Art at Curtin University in 2009.
